When I first met Dr. Moazzez he displayed a great sense of humor, and I really liked that. I also immediatley noticed his passion for this field and that really impressed me. His seminar was extremely informative He made sure to explain the pros and cons fully of each procedure, after hours and hours of research I thought I knew about all of them but he was still able to teach me a few things.....lol He answered all questions and urged us to ask away. He never once seemed rushed or hurried and was extrememly knowledgeable and confident in his skills. (but not in a cocky way) When I had my first one on one consult with him he was very cool to meet with. At the time I was considering another surgeon's office and when we met one on one I knew instantly I wanted this surgeon to do my procedure. I felt very comfortable with him and his expertise and look forward to becoming a star patient!! His office staff was great also very informed and passionate about their job. They were very quick to follow up with my insurance and I had my approval within 6 days (4 business days) of the seminar!

Dr. Mo is an awesome surgeon. My surgery went wonderfully. I did have an issue during the weekend after my surgery, and I was able to get a hold of Dr. Mo with no issues.
His staff is also wonderful. I am starting to see the results, and I am happy. I have no regrets!

My first impression of him was he was very nice, he was helpful and full of information. He is also very cute. The only thing I was to say about my impression change over time is that I only saw him twice. I was in more contact with all the other people who work around him more. There was nothing that I didnt like about the whole experience. The whole crew know what they are doin. They are so nice and willing to answering any quesitons that you may have. Pam at the office was awesome. She helped me with insurance questions. Vonize was wonderful! Nancy so very helpful. Just to name a few. Dont think if I didnt mention you , you werent helpful, bc it was a great experience.
Listen the after care program with Dr. Moazzez is wonderul! Ofcourse Im only 7 days out of surgery, but I already have appt's set, which were sent when my surgery date was set soo it was all taken care of before hand. He addressed the rick of surgery serveral times. If I had to rate him on a scale of 1-10 I would give them atleast a 10 1/2. I have alot of people askin me about it and want information. I know just where Im sending them, Metrobariatrics. Overall both surgical competence and bedside manner were both awesome.

Dr. Moazzez was extremely nice and made me feel comfortable with the consult and the process of Lap-band surgery. He asked and answered all my questions and took time to address any an all concerns I had.

I had my surgery on December 27th 2007. Dr.Moazzez is the BEST! I love him and his staff so much . Since then Ive lost 40lbs . A little slow , but its ok . HIs staff treated me so wonderful . I love my pam :) shes helped me alot and also the other staff that are wonderful also . I had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Moazzez that my best friend had the surgery this April 7th 20008 and shes already lost 11 lbs. So if any body asks I would tell them that they should GO FOR IT ! :)

I think Dr. Moazzez is an excellent doctor and very knowledgeable about the lapband procedure. I'm actually very grateful that he requires so many tests because he was able to find a problem long before I ever had any symptoms. So although having all this test and visits are a pain, I would gladly do them again in a heartbeat.
Pam is also a terrific person and will gladly answers any questions you may have.
Surgery was on 3/31/08 and I ended up staying overnight in the hospital, but the attention I received from the nurses at Fair Oaks Hospital was outstanding. They really took great care of me and tended to my every need.

Dr. Moazzez and his staff are wonderful. He is a very talented and professional surgeon. I felt very informed throughout the entire process. The Inova Fair Oaks Hospital Bariatrics unit definitely deserves their rating as a Center of Excellence. They have an excellent pre-op and post-op education series.

Although I haven't had my surgery yet, I am very pleased with my choice of surgeons. Dr. Moazzez has been great. When I had my initial appointment, he remembered me from the seminar. His office staff, especially Pam, have been fabulous. She is great at answering any questions I have, as well as returning my phone calls quickly.
